Madrid, España.- El gobernador Javier Duarte de Ochoa en gira por España, anunció la creación de la casa de la Cultura Iberoamericana en Veracruz y manifestó que principalmente busca atraer inversiones para Veracruz sobre todo en materia de energía y turismo.
Así, el Mandatario estatal estuvo en esta capital con empresarios españoles agrupados en el “Madrid Network”, organización que agrupa a 700 empresarios.
El gobernador Javier Duarte de Ochoa se reunió también con la alcaldesa de Madrid, Ana Botella, esposa del ex presidente del gobierno español, José María Aznar, quien en breve arribará a Veracruz.
Durante su entrevista con el secretario General Iberoamericano, Enrique V. Iglesias, se estableció que Veracruz este año será sede de la Cumbre Iberoamericana de la Juventud y en el 2014 será nombrada como “Capital iberoamericana de la Juventud”.
En conferencia de prensa con el gobernador Javier Duarte de Ochoa, dijo que México es el candidato que sería elegido, y por supuesto que Veracruz tiene todas las condiciones para ser un buen lugar para ese propósito. Veo con mucho optimismo a México.
Asimismo, destacó que éste es el momento para hacer “las cosas que nos faltan hacer en educación, productividad, profundizar la integración. La posibilidad está como nunca ha estado en la última década”.
